Pros
I enjoyed taking care of the patients as my passion is mental wellness. My co-workers I started with three years ago were awesome, competent and friendly. The doctors are very nice and I enjoyed learning from them. Even so, nigh a year and a one-half agone the CEO changed and things went downhill drastically. She cut back staff dramatically and constantly undermined her directors. She would telephone call lower level staff directly and endeavour to get them to practice the reverse of what the director had just told them to practise. I accept been in healthcare for over 25 years and I take never seen a CEO behave the style she did. She made our piece of work life chaotic, hectic, and only unbearable. I was truly lamentable to leave just felt I had no choice.
Cons
The CEO is incompetent, micro-managing, and just doesn't know what she is doing.

Coworkers are astonishing. Flexible schedule.
Cons
Raises are minimal. Always understaffed. It's a rotating door for workers so there'south more inexperienced staff compared to experienced. Favoritism is obvious. Unsafe nurse to patient ratios. Insurance is non good on elevation of existence crazy expensive if you lot need information technology for your family. Management is constantly changing and they don't seem to care nearly employee concerns.

Cons
Disorganized, depression-staffed. Need some way to motivate and increment the moral of each every squad working under a specific unit. Tin can't determine which unit you tin make up one's mind to work on, house supervisors take favorites and chooses which personnel goes to which unit.

They reimburse for CEU's, they provide a proficient amount of time off even when you lot are starting off
Cons
There is a high turn over rate for MHT and RN'southward so in that location is no continuity on units, information technology makes more than busy work when doing handling planning

To be able to assistance people with substance corruption/mental illness.
Cons
The staff are sicker than the patients. Senior leadership has no thought what is going on with the employees. Very low rate of pay, poor and very expensive benefits, no recognition, no advancement opportunities. Morale is horrible. Management is inexperienced and/or play favorites or just have a blatant disregard for what is right. Practice non work here. Do not place any of your loved ones hither. The staff are all sleeping with each other and the whole identify is full of drama. The culture is so bad and management 1) either doesn't intendance equally long every bit it doesn't affect their bonuses and; two) don't have a clue how to set it
